DECLARATION OF INTENT THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND

HAVING CONSIDERED the matter of concluding an Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons, HAVE AGREED to enter into negotiation as soon as practicable with a view to concluding such an agreement. TO THIS END, the signatures on this Note will therefore place on record the understanding of our two governments on this matter.
