OUTSTANDING "A" QUEDAN-PERMITS ISSUED DURING THE PREVIOUS CROP YEARS

The SUGAR REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION (SRA), in the exercise of its regulatory functions, hereby directs all holders of outstanding "A" Quedan-Permits to submit a list of the aforesaid "A" quedans to the SRA. The list shall include both the original "A" quedans and other classes of quedans swapped and surcharged as "A" sugar. * Attached hereto is the format of the aforementioned list of outstanding "A" Quedan-Permits and said list shall be submitted not later than 28 June 1996. The result of the survey will be used by the SRA Sugar Board in drawing up a policy which will help holders of "A" Quedan-Permits disposed of their unshipped "A" sugar, in which case re-validation or presentation of physical "A" quedans will be required.
