DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 1996, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE
WHEREAS, the anniversary of the “Battle of Binakayan”, an important event in our struggle for freedom, falls on November 11, 1996;
WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Cavite should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate the occasion with fitting ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, November 11, 1996, as a special day in the Province of Cavite, in commemoration with the anniversary of the “Battle of Binakayan”.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 9Th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety six.
