DECLARING SATURDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2014, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGRAS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE
WHEREAS, Josefa Llanes Escoda was a World War II Heroine and the Founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines;
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Dingras, Ilocos Norte marks the commemoration of the birth anniversary of Josefa Llanes Escoda on Saturday, 20 September 2014;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Dingras, Ilocos Norte be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Saturday, 20 September 2014, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Dingras, Province of Ilocos Norte.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
