DECLARING NOVEMBER 11, 1990 AS “PROVINCE OF SAMAR DAY”
WHEREAS, November 11, 1990 marks the foundation anniversary of the Province of Samar;
WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Samar desire to celebrate the foundation day of their province with fitting ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Sunday, November 11, 1990 as “PROVINCE OF SAMAR DAY”, a special day.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 22nd day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety.
