[ Proclamation No. 39, May 31, 1966 ]
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1, 1966, AS MAKATI DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAKATI, RIZAL.
WHEREAS, June 1, 1966, marks the anniversary of the founding of the Municipality of Makati, Rizal; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the said municipality should be given opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 1, 1966, as Makati Day.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 31st day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-six.
