DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 1 TO 7, 1964, AS ISABELO DE LOS REYES WEEK
WHEREAS, the free labor movement in this country was spearheaded by the late Isabelo de los Reyes whose birth centenary falls this year; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to set aside a week to honor him and others who have contributed in promoting the welfare of the working class;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from December 1 to 7, 1894, as Isabelo de los Reyes Week under the auspices of the Isabelo de los Reyes Centennial Committee.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand .and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 24th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-four.
