BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO1457

DECLARING FRIDAY, 16 OCTOBER 2026 AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, on 16 October 2026, Friday, the Province of Negros Oriental will mark the celebration of the Buglasan Festival;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Negros Oriental be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 16 October 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Negros Oriental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
