10% OUTPUT VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT) ON TRUCKSCALE FEES

The Weighing Facilities or Truckscale situated at the North Gate of the, Port Of General Santos , Philippine Ports Authority, is classified as port related ancillary services which is subject to Value Added Tax per Executive Order No. 273. As such, effective immediately, the ten percent (10%) Output Value Added Tax (VAT) will be collected by this Authority on the present or existing Truckscale Fees, as follows: Type of Vehicle Present Rate 10% VAT Total Six (6) Wheeler P40.00 P4.00 P44.00 Ten (10) Wheeler 60.00 6.00 66.00 Trailer/Prime Mover 80.00 8.00 88.00 For your information and guidance.
