ISRAELI PLACEMENT AGENCIES PROHIBITED FROM CHARGING FEES

The Philippine Embassy in Israel communicated a notice from the Israeli Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs that the Israeli government prohibits the charging fees by Israeli placement agencies from all foreign workers bound for Israel whether directly or indirectly. The Philippine Embassy has circulated the notice to all Israeli placement agencies and the Filipino community in Israel for their information and guidance. Recruitment agencies deploying workers to Israel and accredited entities conducting PDOS, are enjoined to disseminate this information particularly on departing workers.
