MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR AMENDING PAYMENT OF RESEARCH AND REGULATION FEES
In consonance with the power and authority vested in the National Tobacco Administration (NTA) to regulate the tobacco industry, the collection of Research and Regulation Fees is hereby amended, pursuant to Board Resolution No. 078, s. 2005, as follows:
A. Research and Regulation Fee for Additional PhP 0.10 to the present All Tobacco Leaf PhP0.30, per kilo, green Buyers/Traders/Suppliers/ weight, of all tobacco types Wholesale Tobacco Dealers purchased from the tobacco farmers B. Competitiveness Enhancement PhP 0.60 per kilo, green weight, of Fee (Additional Research and all types of tobacco delivered Regulations Fee) for Domestic to them by the Tobacco Suppliers/ Cigar/Cigarette Manufacturers Wholesale Tobacco Dealers. Repealing Clause - This Circular supersedes all other orders and/or circulars issued inconsistent herewith. Effectivity - This Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the publication in one (1) newspaper of general circulation and filling with the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR), UP Law Center.
