[ Memorandum Order No. 352, March 19, 1991 ]

RECONSTITUTING THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE CREATED UNDER MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 338 DATED JANUARY 7, 1991 TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE OFFICIAL VISIT OF HIS EXCELLENCY, GOH CHOK TONG, PRIME MINISTER, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE ON APRIL 11-12, 1991.

The National Committee created under Memorandum Order No. 338 dated January 7, 1991 to take charge of the arrangements connected with the Official Visit of His Excellency, Goh Chok Tong, Prime Minister, Republic of Singapore, on April 11–12, 1991, is hereby reconstituted. It shall be composed of:

Undersecretary of National Defense | Member HON. ERLINDA C. PEFIANCO Undersecretary of Education, Culture and Sports | Member HON. NARZALINA L. LIM Undersecretary of Tourism | Member HON. JESUS C. BERINGUELA Undersecretary of Budget and Management | Member HON. HORACIO V. PAREDES Undersecretary, Office of the Press Secretary | Member AMB. SERGIO BARRERA Chief of Presidential Protocol | Member HON. MILAGROS PEREZ Acting Director-General for Protocol Department of Foreign Affairs | Member HON. JOSE TALE Cabinet Undersecretary | Member

The Committee shall be responsible for the planning, coordination and smooth execution of all arrangements to be made in connection with the official visit.

The Committee is authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or any instrumentality of the government, including government-owned and controlled corporations, for such assistance as it may need in discharging its duties and functions. The Committee is likewise authorized to create sub-committees as necessary.

This Memorandum Order takes effect immediately.
