CREATING A COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE VISIT OF HIS EXCELLENCY J. DANFORTH QUAYLE, VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

There is hereby created a Committee to take charge of the arrangements for the Visit of His Excellency J. Danforth Quayle, Vice-President of the United States of America, to be composed of the following:

The Honorable Raul S. Manglapus Secretary of Foreign Affairs | Chairman The Honorable Manuel T. Yan Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs | Vice-Chairman The Honorable Feliciano M. Gacis, Jr. Undersecretary of National Defense | Member The Honorable Narzalina Lim Undersecretary of Tourism | Member The Honorable Jesus C. Berenguela Undersecretary of Budget and Management | Member The Honorable Felix Bautista Press Undersecretary | Member The Honorable Jose F. Mabanta Undersecretary of Public Works and Highways | Member The Honorable Sergio A. Barrera Chief of Presidential Protocol | Member The Honorable Clemencio F. Montesa Director-General for Protocol Department of Foreign Affairs | Member Colonel Voltaire Gazmin Group Commander Presidential Security Group | Member Mrs. Ma. Lourdes Herrera Assistant to the Vice President | Member

The Committee shall be responsible for the planning, coordination, and smooth execution of all arrangements to be made in connection with the Visit.

The Committee is authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or any instrumentality of the government, including government-owned and controlled corporations, for such assistance as it may need in discharging its duties and functions. The Committee is likewise authorized to create sub-committees as necessary.

This Memorandum Order takes effect immediately.
