NEW FEES AND CHARGES
Pursuant to the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 474, the Public Service Act, as amended; Executive Order No. 125/125A; Executive Order No. 292 (Administrative Code of 1987); Batas Pambansa Blg. 325; the General Provisions of the General Appropriations Act; and other pertinent laws, decrees, rules and regulations; the Maritime Industry Board approved on 15 March 2001 the Management’s recommendation on New Fees and Charges listed herein which shall be imposed and collected by the Maritime Industry Authority.
ACTIVITY NEW FEES
1. Approval-in-principle to acquire vessel • 1 - 10 years old P6,600.00/vessel • Above 10 years old P13,200.00/vessel • High Speed Craft P20,000.00/vessel 2. Amendment of Bareboat Charter hire/monthly P1,000.00/vessel leasepayments/Acquisition Cost 3. Transfer of rights and obligations over a vessel • 1 - 10 years old P6,600.00/vessel • Above 10 years old P13,200.00/vessel • High Speed Craft P20,000.00/vessel 4. Amendment of mode of acquisition of vessel P1,000.00/application 5. Amendment of MARINA approval by deleting or P1,000.00/application inserting word(s) or phrase(s) 6. Change of officer and stockholders of accredited domestic P600.00/application shipping companies 7. Permanent conversion of vessels from domestic to P5,000.00/application overseas 8. Extension of validity of MARINA approval to import P1,500.00/month or any vessels fraction thereof of requested duration/period 9.
