URGING LADY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE GOVERNMENT SERVICE TO JOIN THIS RALLY IN CONNECTION WITH THE OBSERVANCE OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S YEAR.

The United Nations proclaimed 1975 as International Women’ Year. This is the first time it ever happened in contemporary history. In view of the significance of the occasion, all heads of departments, bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations in the greater Manila area are hereby authorized to allow their lady employees to join the rally to manifest their support to the important role of women in the economic, social and moral progress of our countrymen. Their attendance shall be on official time with entitlement to reasonable transportation expenses chargeable against the funds of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
