In the best interest of the service, the approval of the application for re-stamping or restoration of the original serial numbers of motor vehicle's engine and or chassis and the stamping of additional character to duplicate serial number of an engine and/or chassis is hereby delegated to the concerned regional director Adopted: 19 May 2008
