RESOLUTION NO. R-616 AND 617, APPROVAL OF CLUPS FORMULATION SECTORAL GUIDELINES FOR THE ECONOMIC SECTOR (INDUSTRY SUBSECTOR); AND THE INFRASTRUCTURE AND UTILITIES SECTOR

1. The Board of Commissioners approved on 13 April 1998 the following sectoral guidelines as part of the series constituting the Guidelines for the Formulation/Revision of a Comprehensive Land Use Plan: 1.1 Under Resolution No. R-616, s. 1998, guidelines for the Economic Sector, Industry Subsector, as part of Volume III of the series; 1.2 Under Resolution No. R-617, s. 1998, guidelines for the Infrastructure and Utilities Sector, Volume IV of the series, comprising the following subsectors: 1.2.1 Transportation 1.2.2 Water 1.2.3 Power 1.2.4 Communication 2. The complete list of CLUPS formulation/revision guidelines approved to date follows: 2.1 Vol. I - Demography 2.2 Vol. II - Social Sector, subsectors — 2.2.1 Health 2.2.2 Housing 2.2.3 Education 2.2.4 Social Welfare 2.2.5 Sports and Recreation 2.2.6 Protective Services 2.3 Vol. III - Economic Sector, subsectors — 2.3.1 Agriculture 2.3.2 Commerce 2.3.3 Tourism 2.3.4 Industry2.4 Vol. IV - Infrastructure and Utilities 2.4.1 Transportation 2.4.2 Communication 2.4.3 Water 2.4.4 Power 2.5 Vol. V - Land Use 2.6 Vol. VI - Local Administration 2.7 Vol. VII - Mapping 2.8 Vol. VIII - Report Writing 2.9 Vol. X - Model Zoning Ordinance 3. This CLUPs series, a major Board undertaking, nears completion. Still pending review and revision by the Rules and Standards Development Group is the Forestry subsector of Vol. III, and Vol. IX, Review and Approval Process.

4. Printed copies of Vol. I — Demography, Vol. V — Local Administration, Vol. VII - Mapping, Vol. VIII — Report Writing and Vol. X — Model Zoning Ordinance, are already available for sale. Please coordinate with RSDG/FOSG for the details. For your guidance, information, appropriate action. Adopted: 20 April 1998
