EXECUTIVE ORDER

In view of the petition of the inhabitants of the barrio of San Juan, municipality of Kawit, Province of Cavite, upon recommendation of Honorable Florentino Joya, Dele-gate to the Philippine Assembly from said province, and pursuant to the provisions of Act Numbered Seventeen hun-dred and forty-eight, entitled “An Act authorizing the adjust-ment of provincial and municipal boundaries and authorizing the change of capitals of provinces and subprovinces, as may be necessary from time to time to serve the public convenience and interest,” I hereby transfer that part of the munic-ipality of Kawit commonly known as the barrio of San Juan from said municipality to the municipality of Noveleta, Province of Cavite.

The municipality of Kawit shall consist of its present territory less that of the barrio of San Juan. The munic-ipality of Noveleta shall consist of its present territory plus that of the barrio of San Juan.

The transfer herein made shall be effective on January first, nineteen hundred and fourteen.
