INCLUSION OF CATHINONE, LEVAMPHETAMINE, LEVOMETHAPHETAMINE, CATHINE, N- ETHILAMPHETAMINE, FENPROPOREX, MEFENOREX, PROPYLHEXEDRINE AND PYROVALERONE IN THE LIST OF DANGEROUS DRUGS

SECTION 1. In accordance with the decision (S-IX) of the Commission Narcotics Drugs, and pursuant to Section 36 (a), Article VIII, in relation to Section 2 (e), Article I and Section 40, Article X of Republic Act No. 6425, as amended, any material, compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of the following substances, including its salts, isomers (whether optical, position, or geometric), and salts of isomers whenever the existence of such salts, isomers, and salts of isomers is possible within the specific chemical designation by whatever official name, common name or usual name, chemical name or brand name designated, is classified as Dangerous Drugs and further categorized as Regulated Drugs: INTERNATIONAL NON PROPRIETARY NAME ( INN) CHEMICAL NAMES Cathinone (-) - alpha – aminopropiophenone Levamphetamine 1 - alpha – methylphenethylamine Levomethamphetamine 1 - N, alpha – dimethylphenethylamine Cathine d - threo - 2 - amino - 1 - hydroxy - 1 – phenylpropane N- Ethylamphetamine dl - N - ethyl - alpha - methyl – phenylethylamine Fenproporex dl - 3 - [(alpha- methylphenethyl) amino] propionitrile Mefenorex dl - N - (3 - Chloropropy) - alpha - methyl phenethylamine Propylhexedrine dl - 1 - cycloxexyl - 2 – methylaminopropane Pyrovalerone dl - 1 - (4-methylphenyl) 2 - (1- pyrrolidinyl - 1 -pentanone

SECTION 2. This Regulation shall take effect fifteen (15) days after completion of its publication in a newspaper of general circulation once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks. Adopted: 26 March 1987
