20% INCREASE FOR DOMESTIC CARGO HANDLING TARIFF

Adopted: 01 March 2012 Date Filed: 15 March 2012 Pursuant to the pertinent provisions of R.A. 7621 (Charter of the Cebu Port th Authority) and CPA Board Resolution 089-2012, adopted during the 25 Regular th Board Meeting of the 6 Cebu Port Commission on 29 February 2012, in the interest of ensuring smooth operation of the domestic cargo handling operations in the Port of Cebu, the following uniform domestic cargo handling rates and guidelines are hereby prescribed:

Section 1. Rate of Increase – except for Iron and Steel Products, there shall be a twenty percent (20%) across the board increase in domestic cargo handling tariff, including cranage fee, in the Port of Cebu as approved by the Cebu Port Commission and as presented during the public hearing held on 08 February 2012. Increased rates are attached [*] hereto as ANNEX A .

Section 2. Schedule of Implementation – The new rates shall be implemented effective 16 March 2012, after two (2) publications in a newspaper of general circulation.

Section 3. Repealing Clause – This Circular amends all previous circulars, orders and other issuances passed or adopted by CPA in so far as they are inconsistent herewith.
