Subject : Purchase of Assets and Assumption of Liabilities of Rural Bank of Capalonga (Camarines Norte), Inc. (RBCAP) by the Rural Bank of Paracale (Camarines Norte), Inc. (PCALE), and RBCAP’s Surrender of its Banking License
The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 389 dated 6 May 2026, approved the Purchase of Assets and Assumption of Liabilities (P&A) of Rural Bank of Capalonga (Camarines Norte), Inc. (RBCAP) by the Rural Bank of Paracale (Camarines Norte), Inc. (PCALE).
PCALE completed the P&A transaction effective 17 July 2026. RBCAP
ceased operations and surrendered its Certificate of Authority on 17 July 2026.
