RECONSTITUTING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE RIZAL DAY NATIONAL COMMITTEE IN CONNECTION WITH THE OBSERVANCE OF THE 103RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE MARTYRDOM OF DR. JOSE RIZAL ON DECEMBER 30, 1999

I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby reconstitute the membership of the Rizal Day rd National Committee in connection with the observance of the 103 death anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal on 30 December 1999, as follows: The Chairman, National Commission – Chairman for Culture and the Arts The Secretary of Education, Culture – Co-Chairman and Sports The Supreme Commander of the – Co-Chairman Knights of Rizal The Chairman and Executive Director – Vice-Chairman of National Historical Institute The Secretary of the Interior and Local – Member Government The Secretary of Public Works and – Member Highways The Secretary of National Defense – Member The Secretary of Tourism – Member The Secretary of Budget and – Member Management The Press Secretary – Member The Chief of Presidential Protocol – Member The Head of the Presidential – Member Management Staff The Chariman, Metropolitan Manila – Member Development Authority The Executive Director, National Parks – Member Development Committee The City Mayor of Manila – Member The Municipal Mayor of Calamba, – Member Laguna The City Mayor of Dapitan, – Member Zamboanga del NorteThe President of the Kababaihang – Member Rizalista rd To fittingly commemorate and properly disseminate nationwide the 103 death anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, I hereby authorize the Department of Budget and Management to release such amount from any available funds to defray necessary expenses for the 1999 commemoration activities for the martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal, subject to accounting and auditing procedures. This Administrative Order shall take effect immediately. th
