An Act to Amend Article Six of Chapter Forty of the Revised Administrative Code, By Adding a New Section to Be Known as Section Fourteen Hundred and Ninety-Eight-A, Imposing a Tax on Saccharine.

AN ACT TO AMEND ARTICLE SIX OF CHAPTER FORTY OF THE REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION FOURTEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-EIGHT-A, IMPOSING A TAX ON SACCHARINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
Section 1. Article six of Chapter forty of the Revised Administrative Code is hereby amended by inserting a new section, to be known as section fourteen hundred and ninety-eight-A, which shall read as follows:
"Section 1498-A. Tax on saccharine.-On saccharine there shall be collected a tax of sixty pesos per kilogram."
Section 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
